The journey of Madrasatun Naseeha began with the thought that the success of Al-Asr Institute’s ‘Arabic Language Course’ and ‘Islamic Studies Course’ can be extended in our mainstream education system for the betterment of society. When Al -Asr Institute started its journey in 2013 with the goal of teaching Arabic language and Islamic Studies, there were two critical questions which needed to be answered. Firstly, in an era where plenty of translations of Quran are available, will the students be interested in learning apparently difficult grammatical aspects of Arabic language in order to understand the Quran? Secondly, can adult students from various professional backgrounds really grasp the skill of Arabic language? Al- Asr assumed the answer of these two questions positively. Alhamdulillah, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala by His mercy enabled Al-Asr Institute to progress in achieving its goal.
This success then provided the launch pad for establishing a formal educational institute where young children will study Islamic studies in Arabic language aside studying in Bangla and English language, and will also study general subjects following a contemporary curriculum. The reason for choosing Edexcel curriculum was that this curriculum currently offers Arabic Language and Islamic studies for O level examinations in Bangladesh.
